White paste, white slip and transparent, colourless glaze. The plate has a ring base and everted rim. It is decorated underglaze in yellow, green, manganese purple, cobalt blue and brownish red with black outlining. Around the rim is a double black ring. In the center is a bird holding a flower in its beak alighting on a branch with pendant stylised fruits. The bird has a green head and body and its breast has a diamond pattern in blue and purple. The plate has been restored.
